stick tranny parts

Hi d3250
I need to fix the stick assembly that attaches to the gears in the transmission. Something has broke. My problem is I dont have a spec of the transmission to see how to take it apart, to order the part. Does anyone no where i can get this?

If your Mitsu is like my stick transmission, you would remouve the six machine screws that hold the cover on the transmission.
Put it in neutral first (if you can) as that makes it easier to re-assemble, otherwise you can do it by hand once opened.
You might simply find that you have a bent fork or some wear that allowed the 'stick' to get stuck in the wrong place, or jammed between forks.
If wear on the shifter sometimes a bit of delicate welding can rebuild the shifter ball end.
Might even be simply a sheered roll pin that holds a shifter fork onto a shaft.
