Steering cylinder repair or replacement on a TC29DA

Well. Had the dealer order it... waited a month and they told me it was back ordered. Checked again and it won't be in until May. Decided to caĺl Messicks. The sales lady was very nice, knowledgeable and honest. Said the part really is back ordered until May and don't hold your breath. Contacted a hydraulic cylinder repair shop and they said bring it in. In the process of removing the cylinder. Cant get two hydraulic lines loose without twisting the hoses. Other ends are inside the tractor which require a tear down... radiator, fan housing. Any suggestions on the hydraulic lines?

After checking the neighbor's non-super steer TC, I believe you will find those hoses have swivel ends and after you loosen them they will freely turn and allow the removal of the cylinder. Before you start that, hit the frame side pivot pin with some rust dissolver and hope it removes easily. Good Luck

Thanks half track. That is exactly what I found. Still need to tear the tractor down since it looks like every hose up front needs replacing. I suspect that the hoses were twisted when installed. Explains why they were in bad shape.

Alright.. Got my cylinder, got my oil, new hoses, filters and..................... I lost my diagram on the arrangement of hydraulic lines up front. It either fell on the floor of the garage & wind blew it away or my maid didn't know what that half ast picture was.

The two lines going through the side of the frame got to the right cylinder.. Which one is which? The lines going between the cylinders aren't an issue. Anyone have a diagram or schematic? I searched high and low.
