local truck stop was seeing a loss of bulk oil and filters for 2-3 months.. caught an employee taking them ome and 'working' on the side.

I would think that a surveillance camera system would be standard equipment these days for anything like an equipment lot, where you have to keep the merchandise outside.

If I were a thief, I would automatically assume there was one, even if I couldn't see it, and would stay away for that reason. Guess I just don't have the guts to be a "good" thief...
