I wonder how many of us know how to properly use a scythe. My father tried to teach me how to do but I never got the hang of it. It seems to me that a big part of the battle is keeping the blade sharp. Keep up the good work. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Get a gas powered hedge clipper. Put a tray on the backside of the blade to catch the cuttings. Mow it just below the seed heads. That scythe will make your back hurt, twice!
