Stake pockets...where to buy?

I want to pick up some cheap stake pockets to put on my carryall. Some of the posted pictures look great. I can not find true stake pockets that will receive a 2x4. Does anyone know of a source?

TSC or Northern Tool. They should be about $7-10 each

Cheaper yet, check with your local steel supplier and just get them to cut you some out of rectangular stock. Should run under a dollar a foot.

I really don't want the weld on type, as I am just going to screw them into some wood at the base of my carryall. Tractor supply does have a type you can screw or bolt on, but it is a goofy size, like 3"x1.5". I was hopeing for something standardized for a 2x4, and have some holes for bolting in place.

I think I might have seen some at Northern, I will have to check.

allmost 14 dollar is a rip-off...

We use 80x50x4 millimeter tubes, which accept a 70x40x4 with a little room for a layer of zinc, paint or dirt, or all of them. Using tubes as stake pockets is stronger as well.

They are sometimes priced as little as half of Northern Tool or TSC.

I bought a number of heavy duty stake pockets from them awhile back, they were about half of what TSC charged locally and much heavier. I haven't yet installed them as I can't seem to master vertical welding....

Check eBay, I found some from a guy in Michigan. I think I got 12 bolt on stake pockets that will accept 2x4's for around $30.00 shipped to me.

I bought 6 of them form Home Depot, for about $4.00 each. They were on the aisle with the Gate items......
