Spring is Here!

well, I removed the MMM (to do the 50 hr svc) and since it was off I decided to hook up my tiller and till some gardens before putting the MMM on.

Did a neighbors (who keeps me fully supplied with squash/zuchinni/scalloped squash/greens) all summer...his garden was about 25x60.

did another neighbors 12x16 and then took it to my dads to do his 50x100. none took over 1 hour to do...saved them a lot of work!

the tiller mounted is 26yrs old...came with the Bolens I had!

It's 20 degrees with 40 mph wind gusts and 3 or 4 inches of snow. It's supposed to dop to zero tonight with high around 10 tomorrow and no let up in the wind. Maybe I should move to Texas!

this man is over 70 years old...he keeps me supplied all summer long with squash/zuchinni/scalloped squash/okra, etc.....he has always just disked it up, used a walk behind tiller, etc.....

I told him let me do it...I can do it in a fraction of the time.....

if you can't help your neighbors you've got a problem.....

Today it is 17 degrees. Yesterday it was 8 degrees. I won't mention the night temperatures. Yep - for sure, spring must be in the air.

My outlaws live in San Angelo, I am thinking I should move there.

Spring might be there but it sure isn't here. If I'm not mistaken that white stuff falling out of the sky here is snow.

cant wait for that "spring weather" as well darn cold here and was windy as a son of a gun yesterday..40-50 mph gusts.
