alright guys ive had enough im *@#$ !

so the wife and i go out on the boat this after noon we are both gettting the boat set back in in spot ect when the neighbor kid who is 14 is continuallly peelling out on the gravel road that i work so hard to maintain with my tractor. Im very irritated but continue to do what im doing my wife go so mad she ran up our driveway to main gravel road and tried to catch them.

i told her its not our fight to fight... its not technically our road to maintian i have just been doing to be nice.

the lady that lives there is in her 70ish and the culpret is her grandson. Now the plot thickens a bit because he is not the only one doing it... He has been hanging out with the older kids ya know 19 20s you know well shoot im only 25 but my wife says im an old man in my ways...
I was that age not so long ago and stayed away from this crowd of ppl. I was working to much dang.... when i was 19 i was working 70-80 a week and my record was 110hours sleeping on the job in our trucks. all that to be said this grandson has no male in his life his dad is non exsictant. His mom had tried to take him to WA with here about eight months back. Now he has moved back to a friends house and hangs out at his grandmas house on the weekend and now that school is out all summer long.

I know what the grandson needs and thats a country %#@ whipping. and i would love to be the one to do it!!! he needs a dose of reality and what its like in the real world i know hes trying to impress these older kids but it will lead to no good in the end..

Also a few weeks ago around 3am i had my windows open in our bedroom while sleeping and i herd voices out side. I figure out its the kids trying to call their pitt bull dog back out of our front yard. i never went outside but i did turn on all of our light on the outside and the front porch lights. they left quickly! i suppose after they got their dog and knew i was awake.

I want to try and be a peace maker in all of this and we are friends with the older lady we have her over for thanksgiving easter dinner ect.. she a single lady with no one to spend the holidays with..

what should i do>>?

I did kinda chukkled when my wife can back down our driveway and had that look on her face... you know the look...
i said how many neighbors? held up my hand making a goose egg. i bought this house so that it would be somewhat close to things yet out in the country. I would live compltelly off the grind but i thought the wife might not take well to that in our first year of marriage. Now she is seeing things my way... this modivates us more to move to a bigger piece of land in the next few years.

Thanks

Avoid people who are idiots. Live your own life instead of letting others define your life. In other words mind your own business. If you observe someone breaking the law then call the police. :2cents:

I see you mention he is 14. Is that a legal age for him to be driving? and is the road considered a public access road? If so, I might mention that to grammie and if you have to report him. If he is in the yard at those times, it is for no good purpose I would bet. Tell her your concerns about that too. You can't let him endanger you or your family. If he is that age, and living with a friend, they better have legal guardianship or else that is also a no-no.

That is a bad situation, but you need to be careful what you do. As reekes4300 said you can call the police if you have to.

yea it really is a bad situation!!!! He is not legal to drive... it is a private easment road. that we all use there are three of us back here. but he drove onto the public road several times tonight alone. and was gone for 30mins or so. Alll the cars are gone now including and hers but im not sure that her grandson didnt take it>? when i see her next ill ask where she was in sat night it is not like her to be out at night with her front door open and only her screen door securing the front... Im pretty sure i will call the police at some point I have never had to doing anything like that before! i dont know that it will be tonight..

i really think that talking to grammie will not do much good she defends her grandson becasue she claims he has ADD and bi polar. I told her he being a teeage boy and that he needs man in his life to show him what being a man is really about.... I really want to help him if i can but im afraid its to late for that..

correction now the one truck just came racing back. WTF!!!! this is driving me nuts guys!!

The best I have ever heard on handling such a situation was: The gentleman found out who the insurance carriier on the vehicle was. He then called the insurance company and asked if they were aware an underage - non-licensed driver was operating a vehicle insured by them in a reckless manner. The insurance was cancelled and the vehicle owner had a hard expensive time getting a new insurance company.

I totally understand the above. My son's wife has a son from a previous marriage who lives with her parents with these disorders. It is even MORE important that you take whatever means you can to protect yourself (and indirectly her for that matter) that you can. The child I am familiar with has not seen his dad in three years- he refuses to visit him or let him go to Texas to visit. The father tells him it is his mother and the grand-parents refusing him the right to see him, so of course the blame falls on them. They welcome the birth dad to take part in this child's life.

Bottom line is he has been committed to a residental health facility for trying to slash the grandfather when he got out of control two months ago. My son and I absolutely ban him from visiting up here where I live ( the grandparents live 50 miles from here). I have three other grandkids, two from my son, and one from my daughter and I will not let them be endangered regardless of whether this child has issues or not.

That's a good one, I like it a lot. :applause:

Depending on whether anyone with any responsibility is in charge it may be the way to go. But, a lot of people will just not have any insurance.

I have had my car hit from behind by an uninsured driver, and about two years ago a rental 4-plex we own was hit by an uninsured driver. Yes, thats right, the building was hit. Young guy, I think he was showing off for his girlfriend.

You could "accidentally" bump your lift lever once in a while which might make something like a speed bump that only fast drivers would notice.
