Those older guys did the same thing for the guys before them...the difference being that they'll be able to DRAW...we probably won't, or if we will, we'll have to be 88!

I'm nearly there with ya ... 19 months and counting ... I'll still be 59 when I go out with 40 yrs 4 months of service (+ sick leave = 41 yrs credit) People ask me what I'll do with myself ... I've got 10 years worth of work waiting for me to get to it. Can't wait to start my next career. ... Gentleman Rancher ..... Ok maybe the gentleman part is a stretch ... and the rancher part too as I've only got 20 acres ..... guess I'll have to come up with a new title for it. Have fun with whatever you do ....but for heavens sake be sure to keep working at something. From what I've seen - all the healthy retirees are working retirees.

congrats...

i want to retire, too

i just don't want to be the age it takes

......i'll have 30 in at 53......might do 35......

i work with people that won't retire because they'll be "bored"......shoot, i love to work in the garage, work outside, ride ATVs, go to car shows, swap meets, flea markets, build things.....i could go on and on.......

i don't think i'll be bored!

I agree with you who mentioned that you have a lot to do in retirement. I desided to take a little vacation and am currently spending a few days with a friend of mine in Tucson, but I have a lot to do when I get home, tractor and non tractor stuff.

I doubt that I will get bored.
