I am having trouble finding tractor parts online for my LS Tractor. What are the options? I am not talking about maintenance items like filters etc, but engine/ tractor mechanical parts.

I don't want to use a dealer because I like doing my own research and ordering from home. I've had great experiences with my 2 Kubota tractors and ordering parts online. I have no problem with my local LS dealer, I just want to do the repairs my way, including using parts purchased from the internet.

And now with Covid19, it is even more important for me to use the internet for parts.

I have used one LS source I found online and had a bad experience.

What do LS owners do for parts online? And what is your experience with them?

My dealer will ship to me if I need something. A few other bigger dealers will ship pretty much anywhere. There really isn't much in the way of non-dealer sources for genuine parts. If you have a Yanmar engine, you should be able to get parts from Yanmar sources. LS makes some of the New Holland models and many of the parts for those machines are interchangeable.

Exactly what Diggin It said. Most of the parts you wont find online unless you get creative with ordering from dealers like Messicks and ordering NH parts if your tractor is 'interchangeable' with NH.
And I have had experience with LS dealers willing to ship me parts (didnt need to go that route, my dealer came through.) But that isnt exactly online. Its the old fashioned way of calling and speaking with a 'parts guy'

Another route you may consider is speaking with YOUR dealer about leaving your parts for you to pickup. Here is what I mean: My dealer is closed Saturday and Sunday and after 5pm every weekday. I cannot take time off work to go pick up parts, so after a phone call or two, he left the parts I needed in a box hidden behind his dumpster. I showed up Friday about 6pm, and sure enough, there were my parts. Kinda like a dead drop. :D

It is really simple, and most dealers want your business and therefore, are willing to help when and how they can.

Things that are common, like nuts and bolts, filters, batteries, etc, those you can pick up at your local hardware store, auto parts store, or amazon.

I've had to use Messicks a few times. The NH Boomer series uses a good amount of the same parts. I Actually had to do this today because my local dealer isn't any help with parts, he wants to do the work too.

What you want is something like Rock Auto Parts for tractors I don’t know if anything like that exists.

Not criticizing, but I don’t quite get your aversion to your local dealer, I am grateful to have one nearby, in case I need them.

This is a long standing issue with this dealer. I knew him from years ago and he's about 45 miles from me. When I was looking at a tractor he was priced very high compared to other dealers further away. Long story short, I ended up helping my brother in Florida (I live in Maine) clear some land and prep for building. I bought the tractor there and used it and my brother paid to have it shipped to me in Maine. The tractor was $6500 less. But now that I'm in Maine with it, he doesn't want to service it or help me with anything to do with it. So I've had to source parts from other resources. I had to order (out of my pocket) an HVAC control motor for the cab because he told me that I'd have to bring it to him, have it diagnosed, then see if it falls under warranty. I showed him the part with it obviously stripped gears. It would have cost me more to get it there then to just buy the part outright. I would love to have a local dealer that was there to help, mine just isn't that type.

I would look at other LS dealers further away. I would think that most of them would understand and ship you parts. And I would think at least some would honor the warranty for those parts. I know there are people on here that talk about buying their tractors over 300 miles away.
