Kubota BX24
Hi.
I just took the backhoe off of my BX24 and tried to install the 3-point hitch After I figured it out, I realized that I didn't have whatever it took to hold the Lower Link Pin in place, which I guess are some specialized sort of bushing. I've done a little surfing and haven't found any source for these bushings. Does anyone have any suggestions, or better still, a spare set of these bushings they're willing to part with?
Thanks,
Brian

Welcome to the TBN forum.
I am not really sure what you need from your discription but did you try Tractor Supply Co. (TSC on line)
They have a wide assortment of 3ph pins and bushings.

you must be talking about the 2 bushings shown at the left of the attached pic... just above the 2 big washers. These bushings have a flat side so they fit into place on the BX's frame.
You may need to get your dealer to order them for you.

If it is the bushings uglyboy is showing in the picture, the part # is K2581-38160. Messicks shows them at $3.05 each.

Thanks for the help. I found the part at Messicks. These are the bushings that hold the ~1' long smooth shaft to the frame, right? I don't have the big washers either. Are they part of the hitch? Part if what holds the smooth shaft in the frame? If I need them, do you have a PN for those as well? Thanks again,
Brian

Mine does not have those large washers. Parts manual does not show any washers. i swap mine out ALL the time and do not see any benefit of adding washers there.

OK, thanks so much. I'll get the bushings and go from there. First up will be mowing the pastures,

sorry guys, I'm sure the washers aren't part of the set-up. I found that pic on the net to refer to.
since my snowblower is still on, I couldn't snap a shot of my own stuff.
Raining here today, but still a lot of snow around... we're probably 6 weeks or more from mowing anything.
good luck.

The holes in the bushing and the holes in the frame are offset when the bushings are seated. If you just got your BX 24 it would be worthwhile to check all the fluid levels, especially the front axle.
