Hi guys. I have seen several threads where this has been discussed but no clear conclusion. Has anyone changed the pizza cutter front tires to the wider version that is available in other countries outside the USA? I am willing to pay a premium up front to get the wider 320/85R20 front tires and also change wheel if needed. What is the best way to accomplish this? Buy the tires and wheels myself and have the dealer install and see if I can get credit or see if the dealer will handle it all? I will be doing lots of FEL work and traveling soft ground also so I want the wider tire for obvious reason and they also look MUCH better too.

Well I talked to my dealer and after some research he says he can get me AMR8586 – 320/85R20 R1W – FOR FRONT AMR8587 – 420/85R30 R1W CAST CENTER WEIGHTED WHEELS FOR REAR – this combo would add $1800.00 to the price of the tractor. It will be a few weeks before I pick it up but I will be sure and post pictures once I do.

Have 360-70R20 on an M7040SU (Canada) and I love them, but it came that way.

This thread has some discussion on US tractor buying radials, including some about the front tires.

I bought my M7040 with the tires that came and then traded up to Firestone radials on the back. You can see this and pics in the thread Framer495 mentioned. Firestone radials like shown in that thread are heavier with more meat and pulling power than the lighter bar radials.

For the front, you either have to go with the Firestone bias SAT II or get the Agrimax radials shown below from India. I'm told they are made by a group of guys that broke away from Michelin but who knows.

Even though Firestone makes a comparable radial for Canada and Europe, you can't get it in the U.S. Beats me but this is the only option. I supposedly have two Agrimax radials for the front coming in November. You do not need new wheels.

That was ANOTHER thing that turned me off to Kubota (and deere) when I bought my last new tractor... Those skinny 20" tires...

As for changing them out to wider, higher traction tires, I was worried that all the extra traction would be hard on the front diff., that didn't look all that HD in the first place...

I knew I was going to be doing some HARD pulling with the tractor and I wasn't about to take chances with those EXPENSIVE parts in the diff...

I figure there's a "reason" why Kubota under sized them in the first place...

It seems the narrow rubber is a USA thing on the Ms, 9.5-24s. I like my 14" wide R1W 20" rim front tires that were stock from brand new.
