Well, like another member on here, we have had our share of problems with the deck and arm pins. We just got the 2720 back from the dealer after they had it for about 4 weeks - due to a backordered part for the 62D. First, the link lift body fell apart because of the nut was not tight ( which maybe I should of check it) and the 2720 only had 25 hours on it. The whole gear box went bad ( about 25 hours on the tractor). I am not sure if it went bad because of the link lift body came off or not, they just would not answer my question to that?
Then just tonight after mowing our front yard for the 2nd time since we got the tractor back, the rod lift link pin came out and bent. I am pretty sure this is because of the dealer fixing the first problem. I looked at the other side and the cotter pin was put in without bending the pins over and it is about to come out.
I hope this post helps people to check these things out on there MMM. I am sure I will check all of these things every time I get on the tractor - which of course, doesn't mean that nothing won't happen.
The dealer is picking it up tomorrow and I honestly can not complain about the service - I just wish the service was done right along with the setup of the tractor before delivery.
