Iam looking for a price comparison of a soft and hardsided cab for a b7500.also if anybody knows of any used cabs for sale. is a sims cab cheaper or better than a curtis cab?

Curtis is much higher quality! I had a curtis soft side on my b7500, it was a great set up!

Last fall my dealer installed a Curtis hard cab on my BX2350. They sell and install many more Curtis than Sims, I'm told, though they can provide either one. I have nothing against Sims, but it seems harder to get them out of Canada (extra shipping costs to the US). If I lived in Canada, I'd look at Sims.

The Curtis hard cab fits more snugly along the back of the tractor than what I've observed with soft cabs. Having a 3ph Loftness 48" snow thrower, I wanted a hard rear window and a rear wiper. Boy, am I ever glad I went that way. Snow has this nasty habit of blowing back at you, and without a wiper blade I'd have been blind.

The heater is 20k btu, more than enough for keeping the cab warm and fog off the inside.

Be aware that the inside of a cab on a BX is louder than without a cab. I use ear plugs when I have to spend time blowing snow.

How difficult is it to remove the curtis cab for summer-time work?
