Snow Attachments Soft Edge on a FEL Bucket Expander

I would like to minimize damage to my asphalt driveway while using my FEL for snow plowing. I was thinking about buying a bucket ex-pander with a replaceable wear edge, then attach a rubber edge guard using the ex-pander holes. I would 'save' the driveway, increase my snow load, and would not have to drill the bucket edge. Has anyone tried this?

I use the FEL and a back-blade for clearing the drive. The back-blade has horse stall mating sandwiched onto it.

Not sure if you've seen it - but the Snow Edge may fit the bill for around $300. I tried the ABS pipe along the bucket lip last year and spent a good amount of time getting out to re-attach the ABS pipe. I probably should've gone bigger than 1.5" diameter. I'm thinking pretty hard about the Snow Edge this year since I'm going to be sealing the driveway soon and want to keep it as nice as possible.

Thanks E3A, I have seen the Snow Edge, and it seems to get good reviews here. So that is a consideration. The reason I'm leaning toward the bucket expander is for the increased capacity for snow and summer time work. It is usable for more than just one function. The website says the 'easily replaceable mild steel wear edge is for those who scrape paved surfaces.' So it's blade may be forgiving enough. But I was hoping someone who has the bucket expander could comment on using it on asphalt, or tell me if my idea is practical or feasible. Thanks again.
