I built this "cab" for the 2520 for snowblowing. It keeps the snow off, and shields me mostly from the wind. It is kindof open at the bottom where the material ran out of length, so my feet are exposed. On the other hand, if it sealed up tight it would fog up inside. The fabric is a golf cart cover. I think it cost me $80. Slight modifications were made to it, like cutting a upside-down "U" shape out for the tractor hood, and I added a couple more straps by sewing webbing on, to fasten it to the tractor. Easy stuff. Then there is the frame. It is built of EMT conduit, 3/4 inch trade size (about 7/8" OD). I bent up pcs to weld together to form a square hoop top frame, with a couple cross-members that arch upwards to shed snow and water. The hoop frame is all welded together and painted silver where welded. Also, I found that there is a size of water pipe that fits inside the conduit nicely (can't remember if its called 1/2" or 3/4" pipe). A couple stub pcs of this were welded to the hoop frame aiming downward near each from corner, to accept a conduit down-leg pc. And a short pc of conduit was bent to form a rear support, I bolt on instead of the upper half of the foldable ROPS. OK, here are the pics...
