So what happened on Top Shot? Pretty obviously George threw his shot on the 25 foot huge chalk target with the .357, but did he also intentionally miss the 50 foot shot with the Sharp's? Did the fact that he intended to just buy guns with the $100000 and Chris wanted to put his kids thru college with it get to him? Is George that much of a stand up guy? What about Brian? did he really choke on the 10/22 stage ? or was he in on it too? I just don't know what to think. what do you all think?

Definatally an interesting season:confused2:

I was kinda pulling for chris reed all along.

In the beginning I didnt like jay. But toward the end, it was George and Ashley who I really didnt like. They had too much attitude and I didnt care much for the "surivor" like personallity contest. And the way they ganged up on Jamie and Jay and got them kicked off kinda upset me. And especially the way Ashley didnt even shake Jamies hand when he got the boot:mad:

But I think you are right about George Throwing that shot with the .357. Who knows with the sharps?? But I do think it got to him about chris wanting to put his kids through college and all he wanted to do was buy guns. If that is the case, I do have a little more respect for him now:thumbsup:

I dont think Brian was in on it though. I do think he was really trying.

Yep, I was pulling for Chris all along, and like you thought George was kinda cockey, and no-one liked Jay, and wanted to see him go. But for George to do that, man that restores your faith in mankind! Dont get me wrong, I am very pleased with the outcome, but it was a big surprise. Gotta wonder if the producers of the show wanted it that way?..just nagging thoughts..

Yea, I gotta say that I am happy the way it turned out.

At the beginning of the season, Chris Reed was my favorite before I even watched the first episode.

Main reason is because he was just another average guy like the rest of us. An outdoorsman/hunter. Not someone who is a professional shooter that competes in competitions for there daily job, like Brian, Chris Tilley, The girls, etc.

I am deffinatally looking forward to next season.

But I do gotta wonder though, Are those really the best 16 people they had apply?? Because I watch other shows on discovery/history channels about some of the exhibition shooting, ang guys like Tom Knapp??? Wouldnt he win a competition like this hands down??? Flinging an asprin into the air and hitting it with a .22:confused2:

Yeah, I've seen some of those guys...Wow...:confused2: I think even one threw knives...

Only watched the last couple of episodes but have to agree on the final three that the younger guy did allow Chris to make the final two.

On the final two the one was a ten time world champ with pistols and he still was as slow or slower in clearing out the 16 plates with a pistol. Kind of makes me wonder if he wasn't pulling a little for the other guy also.

Well it is hard to say what really happened, but I gotta wonder if Brian was giving it his all, and I know George pulled his shots. Of course people do choke under pressure, I know I have shot competition, and some days do really well, and some times when faced with extreme pressure, just fall apart, and not do well. As said before I was "pulling" for Chris to win, from the start, but you gotta wonder.

He definitely threw the .357 shot to give Chris a chance to settle his nerves. The Sharps I am not 100% on but I really don't see how a trained sniper could possibly miss at that distance.

George already has the title 'Sniper', I am not sure if 'Top Shot' would even qualify as icing on that cake. Other than that it was about money and George was just going to squander it so.... I think he threw it to give his buddy, who could use the money, a chance.
