So I just noticed this zerk under the tractor. At the front axle, and along the PTO shaft? The picture is actually upside down - didn't notice that until I added it.

I've not been adding grease here (Kubota L3400, 150 hrs).

Screwed, or not screwed?

Grease it, or leave it alone?

Thanks for the input!

Grease it , it's the bearing for the pivot point on your front axle.

AND, probably the hardest working grease joint on any tractor.(and I'll bet the most often overlooked)

On my tractor I used 1/8" pipe and fittings to bring the zerk fitting to one side for easier access.

Not sure about your model, but mine has a square head bolt opposite the zerk from the front. You take it out so greasing is easier.

Otherwise, if u have a loader, I would recommend raising your front wheels off ground to help the grease flow.

I've seen instances where $8 worth of grease applied to a zerk in that location over 5 years would have prevented a $3500 repair bill.

I have L3700SU, which is very similar to your tractor.
My manual does not list this zerk, however I grease it once a year when I grease everything else.
The manual does list a zirk and a breather bolt at front of the front axle.

Why do you grease so often?
