Workign great with my PT to SSQA adapter plate. Going to frame up the walls and trusses for my garage as soon as the concrete is complete.
Getting some very high prices for the garage construction. Can easily do the walls and trusses with this attachment.

How far doe that thing extend!??

When I added our addition to our garage a few years ago, I used the PT425 forks to set the first section of 12'w X 8'h wall. Then I realized it was just easier for my wife and me to tip up each section into place manually. They were 12' x 8' sections up onto 1 course of concrete block. I set the trusses by myself by leaving them upside down, carrying them into the garage, setting one end up on the left wall overhung, setting the other end over the right wall, then swinging them up into place with a pusher 2x4.

So how tall are your side walls going to be?

The boom pole goes out to about 25 feet. There is a main section, a hydraulic telescoping section and another final section that gets you to the approx. 25 total feet.
My garage is either going to be 12 or 14 foot walls with about another 8 inches of block to the final concrete?
Have not decided the final wall height yet as I am considering a car lift for the inside. My initial plan was 12 foot walls but as I learn more about the car lifts, it seems people are recommending 14ft walls? Concrete scheduled for the the next week, so I have to decide soon.

I've got an older garage with 10' walls and there's no way a lift would fit in there and be able to lift our suburban more than a couple/3 feet at most. So even 12' would only get it 4-5 feet off the ground at most and I'd still have to stoop to get under it.

Best advice would be to visit someone that has a lift and measure their ceiling.

If you plan to add a second floor office/storage level in part of the garage, make the walls 16 feet.

Alrighty then. Finally started on the shop framing. YAY!
Ended up going 14ft 6in for the walls with an 8 inch concrete lip for the block. Will be tall enough for a lift and a loft.

Something to consider: The maximum height for a vehicle on the road here is 14' so I made my ceiling 15' and installed a 14' door. I have friends with 12' doors that have to remove the tires/wheels on their motor home and put on some wheels they have had made up that can be used without tires on them so they can store indoors for the winter.
