Nice action shots! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Kinda wish I had a blower sometimes, but can't justify the cost for my little drive.

Nice pictures, and your blower makes short work of moving snow a pretty fair distance compared to a back blade. FEL, or a plow. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My wife took the ones at our place, and my son (14) rode over with me and took the ones at the neighbor's, where he also does some shoveling. Lucky for me, I'm surrounded by talent. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here's a picture that shows the blower a little better - it has a simple hand crank for turning the chute - easy reach from the seat. The basic design is common to quite a few 2-stage blowers being sold today - chain driven auger with direct impeller drive at pto speed. It throws snow about 20-50ft depending on engine speed - the tractor has a 2-speed pto and the blower runs on the higher speed.

Hey Dick you ever think of putting on a electric motor on your unit for the shoot. I put a $5.00 electric motor on mine and it works great. Also put a light on the blower also. That's a nice neat job - looks factory. Can you give me more details about the window lift motor you used? And how it's wired? Any overload breaker?
I like your light directly on the blower. I have a light up in the corner of my rops that does an ok job - usually there's a white-out while blowing - so visibility is somewhat reduced anyway.
Hey the fan on your Woods doesn't look small to me. How deep is it? Looks like it should move a lot of snow. What pto speed are you running? To get more output at lower engine rpm I added a 2-speed pto to my rig. It was fairly easy to do because my tractor model was offered in other countries with a 2-speed pto. I never did find out which other models have this option in other countries.
