What (just exactly) do I need to mount a BX2750 or B2750 snowblower to my BX2350 tractor? What is the quick mount (quick hitch?) and mid PTO kit things I need? I haven't purchased a blower yet, still in the info searching mode. Any help, pointers, or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks hjt

The BX2750 I beleive is the blower that fits your unit. I do not beleive the other one will fit. The quick hitch mounts to the front end and couples to the blower. It has a hydraulic piston to raise and lower the unit. The mid PTO kit connects the mid PTO under the tractor to the quick hich to power the blower via a driveshaft. You need all 3 components to make the setup complete.

I almost forgot to mention but you will probably need some sort of weight on the back also. I leave my BH on as I am too cheap to by a weight box or too lazy to make one. However this year I think I will invest in a carry all and keep my ice melt and other things needed for snow clearing on it. 200 lbs of ice melt and misc tools should be enough.

You need a BX2750 blower. The quick hitch BX2751, BX2753 mid PTO kit, and a loader valve.

Mine came with a FEL, so I assume that it is ready to go as far as hydraulics are concerned, correct? hjt

If you are going to need to redirect the snow up/down or from side to side, remote chute controls are worth considering. Even if you don't care where the snow ends up, you don't want the wind blowing it back in your face. The Kubota electric rotator has worked fine on mine, but it's a little slow. The up/down electric deflector failed early, and the part is expensive and the length seems exclusive to Kubota (no alternate supplier).

The quick hitch fastens to the front of the frame of the Kubota. It is mounted with 2 large pins and 2 screw clamps. It has a an interface that fits the snowblower with a quick lock/release lever. I believe that this hitch is also used for a front blade as well.

The mid-pto kit has the hardware to connect to the mid pto on the kubota and has a sheft interface on the front that mates with the snowblower. It contains a long shaft with universal joints, a bearing assembly that mounts to the front hitch, and the interface shaft.

You need both items to mount and drive the blower. With these, it takes about 1/2 hour to mount the hitch/pto assemblies. Once they are on the blower can be on an hooked up in less than 10 minutes.

Although a bit pricey, I am a big fan of the chute electric rotator and deflection options. I got mine on ebay several years ago for less than 50% of the dealers price.

I dont have the electric chute rotator but have the hydraulic one instead. That works great. Dont know the difference in price, if its not much you may want to consider it. I have to stop and get off the tractor for the deflector, however I have plenty of room to throw the snow so once its set it stays for the season. After reading this and another post I may just try it without the BH on. If the traction is good it will make moving around alot easier.

I asked this question earlier in a different thread but with the front-mount blower users in this thread it is appropriate here as well.
I have read that you can use the FEL with the quick attach mounted to the frame. My local dealer told me that you cannot use the two simultaneously (B3030). Can anybody with personal experience with this set-up clarify this discrepancy?
