We got 10" to 12" in south central PA. It was a pretty dry snow with a bit of wetter stuff early on.
No problems plowing this stuff, but a day later I do have a fair amount of icy stuff (gravel drive so I cannot remove all the snow.

Now, last year...that was a blizzard! Over 30" of the white stuff and a lot of FEL work just to move the piles. Lot of enjoyable hours there!

Roy:

I feel for all you snow guys......You need a cab and maybe a bigger tractor too.

I'm sure I'll get my chance this winter, living in Michigan. But I have the cab and heat and radio to keep me warm and entertained. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Like Roy, we got 10 - 12 inches of snow. I used the FEL to clear our 2 driveway/parking areas (house and barn) plus the driveways of 2 neighbors. Since the plow had not been down our road, I ended up plowing the part of the road in front of our house as well. It took 2.3 hours of tractor time.

I live in Peabody Ma. got just short of 36" of the white stuff.
Had no problems with the bx-22, no chains just bar tires backhoe removed with a 400 lb. cement counter weight on 3pt. hitch. did not get stuck once all flat ground no hills. Just need to push the banks back far enough. Height restictions when stacking as the bx only has about 6' bucket height. I managed to push and stack it up 8'. went thru three tanks of fuel. Had one guy tell me that the bx was doing a better job with the snow than his bobcat, he could not push and stack it. Now I need a few days of rest. Made some quick cash to.

My BX22 is at my vacation property 130 miles away. Here in Beverly, MA we got 32 inches of snow, which so far I have moved around with just a snow shovel. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I live in town on a 40 by 100 foot lot and my wife thought the tractor would be overkill for our 75 foot driveway (the garage is in the back).

I _will_ have the tractor here by this weekend. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

We'll still have plenty around that will need to be moved, so I'll let you know how it goes.

Just outside of Portland, Maine we got 15 inches or so. No problem for my bx with front mounted blower. I have got filled bar tires and a weight box on the 3ph....no tire spin no sweat. Sure am glad I have a heater and a cab as blowing snow in 10 degree weather with 40 mph winds can get a bit cold.
These storms mean we can get some serious seat time!

I use mine at my vacation property But I always bring it home with me. You never know when you may need it. Plus I know it will not disappear while i'm not around. Just think of all the seat time you could of had. And all the money you could of made from the neighbors. Nobody wants to shovel that much snow.

Got 12 inches on Friday, B-7500 handled the snow with know problem with only a rear blade, we got 38 inches last Feburary and although I had to go out and hit it at least 8 times within a 48 hour span it kept the driveway clear and again it all was done with only the rear blade, saddly I do not have a FEL /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif ( it is on Santa's list).
