Snow Plow

Hi Guys

In addition to my back drag project (of which I'll post pictures soon)
I'm starting a plow project for my toolcat.

Do you think it is worthwhile to transfer my 7.5' western to toolcat mounting system or just purchase a toolcat blade?

Here is a pic of the plow.

How would you go about setting up the hydraulics?

The electronics would take some handy work and you would need to
weld a plate that would fit the quick attach. Depends on how much your time
is worth!

Would love to see your back-blade solution. I have professional welders and engineers avail. but need a good plan.

It sure is worthwhile if that is what you want...
You can get the bobtach adapter plates on ebay...
You have an aux remote on the toolcat correct? You just need hoses to go from the remote couplers to the blade cylinders.

I added a meyer blade to the FEL on my tractor, and many others have also, do a search for "FEL plow" or "FEL blade" for lots of reading.

I also spoke to the dealer today. I can get the bobcat plate and hydraulic fittings no problem. looks like an easy set up.

The plow is attached and ready to go. Just needs some paint.

Very nice...and ready for winter. The Farmers Almanac is calling for a snowy winter in the Northeast...we'll see what actually happens.

That would be nice, I agree! I, myself, hope the all knowing almanac proves to be off this year.
