I have a question to you folks that are knowledgeable about hyd. I have a NH TC-30 with FEL. I also have a snow plow which i adapted a quick attach to for use on the TC. Of course I need to raise and lower the plow but can I use the bucket "roll" lines to angle the plow? I would set the plow in the desired position and then connect the plow to those lines. will this work? Will the bucket roll cylinders hold in position? The system is in good shape and nothing leaks down. Thanks

That will probably work for a while, but eventually the blade reaction moment (force x distance) will tuck the scraper rearward. You seem to be handy, add links or a chain to halt the creep of the interface. Hit a curb and you could blow out a seal in the roll cylinders. Does it make more sense to fix the angle and keep the roll? With a blade that far out, the tendency for the heavy snow to push the front end out will be great. Sure, front weights, 4wheel drive and left/right brake will help with the push out....

I found it much easier to drop the loader frame and hook the plow frame to the undercarriage. Blade is real close to the front axle, up/down is plow up/down, bucket roll is left right. 4 bolts and 1 pin takes the whole thing off, then snap the hose disconnects.

Works for me, especially since I have the tendenct to put the plow on during the snow storm, instead of doing it like NOW. My setup is great for reshaping the gravel back into a smooth, tight path, too.
