Snow Attachments Snow plow from JD318 mounted to JDX749?

Hi everybody,
I have a JD X749 that I bought last year...Yes I LOVE it completely! But now I'm looking to mount a front plow for snow removal. I was lucky enough to have my neighbor give me a full hydraulic front plow off his old JD 318 today. Knowing it probably would not just bolt up I took it down and tried to attach it anyway. I was right, the mounting system looks basically the same but is 3/4" too narrow to fit over the front frame. I took the mounting bracket off the plow and think I can cut it, fabricate, and weld it back to fit, but wondered if there is already a bracket that will adapt this plow to my X749. Any ideas?

Photos would help. I’m not a JD guy but it’s my understanding they use their own attachment system- unlike the SSQA. Because of this I’d try posting in the JD section as well.

There is not a bracket out there. But I did the same thing you did. Sold my 318 and converted it to my 455 diesel. Then converted it to my kubota bx. Just sold it with the bx. I made a bracket the bolted to the front of the tractor to accept the 318 plow
