I just had my first real use, since it was delivered last Saturday, of my new Grand L 3240HST tonight. We got around 8 inches of snow in my area of Connecticut today and I used my tractor to clear it. I love the new HST system. The Grand L also feels much more stable than the B3030 ever did. Maybe because this one is an open station and the B3030 was a cab model, I am really not sure. The large turfs definately ride smoother to.
I had a front blade on the B3030 which always worked flawlessly to clear snow. I am currently stuck using the bucket on the Grand L until I can pick up a rear blade. Back dragging the front bucket edge in float mode did work reasonably well. Not as well obviously as the front blade did though on the B3030. I am hoping a rear blade along with the front loader will be the ideal setup.
I am going to post some tractor pics tomorrow when I can get some in daylight
