2012 Kiotie CK35 HST
I have a Kioti HS35. I am looking at a used 6' 3 point snow blower I found locally for sale. The guy selling it said it is heavy duty ( thick metal ) but everything works great on it. He cleaned it up and had it repainted with double epoxy in the chute. His asking price is $1200.00. From the picture it looks straight and not beat up. He wasn't sure of the mfg. He thought my tractor would be big enough to handle it. What do you guys think?

You cannot make decision like this until you find the name plate
and run it on a tractor before you buy it as is.

look for the name plate near the gearbox or riveted to the body of
the snow caster near the ends of the snow casters cross auger housing
or on the weldment that stiffens the snow caster(typically where the gearbox is
attached to the snow caster).

The Kioti 35 should handle a 6' blower ok. I have never heard of a "bad" 3 pt snow blower. They are very simple machines, easily repaired if they break.

I have a Meteor 75" pull type on my DK35 HST which has about the same PTO hp as your CK. It has no trouble clearing 8" of heavy, wet snow at the maximum speed I want to travel. For deeper snow I go a little slower, but it easily handles it.

take the tractor and hook it up... if it spins fine with out makeing a ton of racket, both the auger and impeller turn (like the auger chain isnt broke) then there isnt much else to worry about.

you might check the impeller to housing dimension.... if its greater than 1/8" you may want to see if it can be adjusted and if not plan on doing work to reduce the gap to increase performance. (gap can often be greater if the impeller has been damaged and bent fins trimmed to clear etc)
