Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Snow Blowe on a Craftsman YT 4500

Hi guys,
I am new to the site so bear with me.
I bought a craftsman YT 4500 26HP and am thinking about attaching a snow blower (Craftsman 42" Two-stage tractor snow blower) for it this winter. Winters in Minnesota are harsh and I have a long driveway around 1400 feet/ 2/10th of a mile.
Anybody had any experience with this and what do you guys think? Is this tractor strong enough for that much of a driveway? Would it go through/blow it easy enough around a foot of snow?

That is a long driveway! You will be pushing the machine hard, if you told me your drive was a 140' I would say go for it. I think you will wear the tractor out quickly.

I looked at the adds for the model of tractor that you are planning to use. It is 2 wheel drive and no cab. If you get a bad winter , by spring you will be frozen. I clear 800 feet with a 23Hp 4x4 Kubota for the past 20 years. I have a rear blower and by spring my neck is sore from turning. I love my soft side cab for keeping blow back snow from going in my face.

I am getting chains for the tires as well as the cab along with the blower. I recently had few loads of class 5 gravel over it and had it graded and then dumped recycled granite over the whole thing. The driveway is bonding pretty good so far.
Since this is my first winter in this house I am just wondering how deep can you go blowing snow so I don't get any ice build up on the driveway as I have a little bit of steep hill going toward the house.
I had the contractor level it somehow but it is still an incline.
