It finally happened. I ended up smashing the glass of my right-side cab door. I called the dealer up and managed to get new glass. Has anyone ever try to get the million pieces of tempered glass out of the rubber lining that goes around the door? I'm thinking I'll bite the bullet and just get a new lining from the dealer, I'm sure it can't cost that much, but I was wondering if anyone here has had this problem before and have an innovative way to get them little bits of broken glass out of the lining. I didn't expect it to be such a challenge but that rubber lining forms a pretty tight seal around the glass and there's a million little pieces in there.

Good leather gloves and a screw driver or similar tool. Hold the gasket in one hand, screw driver tip into the slot and work the screw driver away from you with the other.

If you're referring to the rubber gasket that holds the glass in the doorframe, then I would use a wood piece instead of metal to get the glass out. Something like a paint stir stick or similar, so you don't tear the gasket.

Compressed air. Try a blow gun attachment on your air hose. Wear eye protection. If you can get the door on a workbench, even better. What tractor do you have that has gasketed glass? Mine is one large piece of glass.
You can see if there's a mobile glass installer in your area. I can't imagine they'd charge all that much to do such a job. Then you don't have to mess with it!

I feel your pain Brother. I did that to. Glad you brought it up because it is very tedious trying to get the glass out of the gasket.....and its everywhere. :(

Never thought about using the air compressor. Interesting! I have a 2007 Kioti CK20. Bought a factory cab for it back in 2013.

It most definitely is!! I have been putting it off for a bit but with the colder weather approaching, I no longer need air conditioning :) Time to get the new glass on so I can stay warm and dry this winter.

Exact same thing happened to me to my L3560, just two days after your November post. Day after Thanksgiving I was creeping forward (with door opened) to drop the brush hog and line up for snowblower pick-up, must have caught something in the barn and next thing I knew the door exploded. Certainly my fault, but glass was everywhere. Proceeded to clean up the mess (30 lbs of shattered glass). Called dealer (it is covered by insurance) but they couldn't get to it until February (!) so I bought the glass ($375) myself. I also bought the seal/weatherstripping ($75) that surrounds the door because the shattered glass was tightly embedded in the stripping and I couldn't risk ruining the seal nor did I want to have more glass flying around. I am attempting to replace the door today. More on this later.

I've done lots of them in the body shop.

There is a plastic tool that has rounded edges which is commonly used to remove the broken glass. Equalizer® BTB Windshield Paddle/Stick - WK20
You could easily make one. Use wood if you have to.

A pull tool, with a dull hook on the end, also sometimes comes in handy when doing these.

Do you know how to rope it back in? https://youtu.be/QvcJ_lU_VpQ
Sometimes you have to hit them, with an open palm, pretty hard to get them to seat.
