I will buy one from this small planter for my garden (see image). I'll use it with a small garden tractor which I'm thinking to buy it too. I think it can also fit a compact tractor easily. What do you think? Are you compact tractor drivers planting/growing anything? I'd like to see what similar implements you are using.

Nomad who sells that implement? I would like to see more information regarding the planter. The pictures are not large enough to get an idea of how it works but it reminds me of an old corn planter that was modified.

It is just like a slit tobacco setter. To use this for corn you would have to start corn in a seed bed and transplant the corn when the plant is 4-6".

MossRoad, this is a good thread where I saw good web sites with similar planters. (yes, I should have used correct term; Vegetable Transplanter.)
PineRidge, I have an old brochure of a MFG here in Turkey. I'm not sure if they are still manufacturing it, but they will probably make one for me if I ask for. Unfortunately, I don't have a better picture taken when operating. Not much info available on one page brochure. Only about adjusting rows of vegetable field. Many vegetables (tomato, etc etc) are listed.
Rather than this transplanter, my purpose in this thread was to talk about "compact implements" which can be used by "compact farmers;-0".. MossRoad gave a good link. What about other implements? For ex., a small compact wheel hay rake (say, with 1-2 ft wheel diameter) can be made for raking the leave?

These transplanter units are available and weighing in at 300 lb, They will work fine on many CUT--Prices on good used units starting around $395--The water tank is nice--however--it is not required to plant veggies---Ken Sweet

2003 was a good year, when you've sold 101 new round balers, 380 rakes, 160 drum mowers, 85 disc mowers, 5,000 tractor seats, 400 tillers and more just in 2003, yes in one year CCM was able to do this. It's hard to be negative about 2003. CCM has 7 new products we are introducing in 2004 and 2004 Lord willing, will be even better than 2003. We thank our customers for making these numbers possible. Some dealers say they are "Hay Specialist" and do not even sell round balers. I hope you had a good year Mr. Sweet. Thanks again to our TBN customers.
