Small DIY bulk feed bin designs?

We are going to raise more chickens (meat birds) this year than we have in the past & I figure we will go through somewhere around 2500lbs of feed. There are a couple of feed companies that produce their own stuff, available in bulk, so I was wondering if anyone has fabricated any kind of small bulk feed bin?

I've seen a few of the hopper-style metal ones go really cheap in auctions online, but they are all out in the mid-west, there doesn't seem to be many (any) back this way.

I use some small galvinized garbage cans, the handle locks the lid in place and its movable to clean behind.
