Small Block ford 9n convertion

I have a 1941 9n ford with cracked block the full lenght of the block some has tried to weld it and has blown holes it.I am looking for infromation on putting 302 ford V8 in place of orginal engine. Any help with infromation and parts to do the convertion would be apprecated. Thanks Robert

The 302 might be a bit too much for the tractor. Most conversions use a Ford flathead V8.

For my nickles worth a small v-6 would be very nice. You will need to study the photos of the original 6 cyl and flathead conversions on the 8n class. Equalling rails under the engine, and mating to the transmission?
