Can someone out their tell me how to hang a header on a pole barn so you have a door opening too the bottomof your truss (or full eve) opening? I am not sure if I back the truss using a 2x12 or what I am suppose to do? And where the hardware hangs? Even pictures would do it. So if you have any input on this do tell? Thanks Bryan

Need a lot more info! What's the width of your opening? Single or double door? What's your siding? Generally, the rail is mounted on a 2 x XX where XX is a function of span and door weight, attached to a structural wall member at the top of your wall, not the bottom chord of the end truss. On my metal buildings, it only takes one 2x6 attached to the 2x10 batten board to clear the siding. Rail is mounted with GRK screws. Rollers attach to the top 2x6 in the door framing. I have a 12' single and two 6' doubles all mounted this way. Send me a private message if I can help futher.
