Generally speaking the "hitch" part that the attachment hooks to is universal. But the other end of the hitch that attaches to the tractor is usually brand specific. The tractor frame widths and pivot points and lift arms are gonna vary from brand to brand. Knowing what tractors are clones of others may allow you to use a Husqvarna hitch on a Sears Craftsman of the same size, or a Toro on a New Holland, etc. But since these things are basically just a metal bracket, if you are handy and can weld, you can probably modify one from one brand to fit another, or better yet make your own from scratch once you borrow the dimensions from the store bought model /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
