Skid Steer Quick Attach Plate Specs?

I have a tractor that uses the skid steer quick attach mounting system on the end of the loader. I want to make a snow plow for the tractor similar to this one HERE . I can buy a quick attach plate for around 200 beans but they look so simple to make. I don't have the exact dimensions. I need a one that looks like THIS .

Does anyone know where I can find the specs of the plate? The plan is to buy a old Meyers, Weston, ect snowplow from a truck, and adapt it to the plate. Should be a fairly simple project. If anyone has any similar experience doing this, I'd love to hear any suggestions also.

Those plates were being sold on ebay for $89.00 each. I don't remember what the store was but that was the "buy it now" price. They shipped them to Cincinnati, OH for $25.00.

I've seen the same thing on Ebay, hardly worth the effort to make if you can get that price...

What kind of info do you need charlz? If your loader is equipped to handle skid steer quick attach attachments, This is simply a plate that easily attaches to your loader. You can retrofit old attachments or in my case fab attachments to the plate.

My loader is not quick attach and old enough that no one makes one for it. The 'universal fit' ones tend to be way heavier that I would need/want. I can see that the top of the loader side is angled to fit inside the angle of the plate on the attachment... but what happens after that? I see there are levers, do they just push blocks/pins down through the holes on the bottom of the plate and that's it?

The cheapest one I can find on the internet is $300 without shipping. If you know where I can find one cheaper please let me know. I'm converting my tractor this spring.

Dangerdoc,

We may be talking about two different things. I think you talking about converting your tractor to accept the quick attach plates. The 89 dollars is for the plate itself.

Here is a pic of the end of my loader. I only need to buy the plate (see the pics in my first post) and weld on a attachment.
