Concur with The Doc, but any reputable dealer will tell you what hydraulic capacity and weight limitations apply. And The Doc will appreciate this, get more than one dealers/sources opinion. We do this all the time in modifying attachments from one manufacturer to an others.
For equipment with lower GPM, if the tractor has a PTO, one can add an add. 20 Gallon Hydraulic tank and mount a pump directly to the PTO. You can gain up to 21 GPM max, depending on your tractors capabilities. The modification is not too cheap. I priced one out (incl. labor around $2200.00)
I am in the process of adapting the old skidsteer, a 1835B Case to the universal adapter. Case HQ gave me very detailed information, and pointed out which of their own, more modern attachment could be used with the old machine that has only 400 hrs on the hour meter.
We also have converted Power Trac equipment
Power Trac for use with Schwartz FEL mounted on a Kubota
L2050. Another conversion was a lackender backhoe
Lackender mounted on a Power Trac 425 model.
Good Luck /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
