Size of nuts on SB200 blower/fan?

The SB200 (and 240, I think) have 5 studs/nuts on the fan plus one humongous castle nut. Apparently, one of the 5 smaller nuts on my blower decided to leave for Yuma today while I was out doing snow removal. I need to replace it and I need to know what size this nut is. Anybody know?

I called the local BC dealer but they said that all they had was a part number. WTH? They said, "Bobcat doesn't give us that info so that we have to order all stuff from them."

Bad Bobcat! Bad!

In any event, if anybody knows offhand, I'd appreciate the spec. for the nut.

We lost two of them off one blower in the last week or so. I got extras from the parts store. I will try and get you the size as soon as I get a chance. I have a bunch of last minute/panicked one shots to do this morning.

The nut is 13/16ths and is tapered like a lug nut. I stupidly ran into the shop to check it for you and didn't look at the threads. Sorry...

I stopped at Napa and all they had that would fit was a 1/2 " fine nylock, the bobcat ones are special, put one on to protect threads and bought a spare

I know 1/2" standard thread pitch is 13 TPI.
Fine thread or UNF is 20 TPI.

And you are saying snow and rock are loosening fine threaded lock nuts?

Ouch!

It's amazing what comes loose where you can't see.
