sixth project (FOPS with sound)

Henro: I have to admit that I got the idea from a picture of your FOPS, when I first Joined TBN, but I didn't see the thread you posted. Nice Work!

I used 1/16" steel with 1/4" lexan for the top, I did notice a little sound reverb but not much, I think mine might be a little thinner than yours, I kept it the same size from the ROPS until the last foot or so and then angled it out from their to hold my sound system and front speakers. My concern was braining myself while getting on and off the tractor!

I would never roll something out of the bucket on my hood /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif May be I should start thinking about a hood protector? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Here is a little better picture of the sound system and lights. Being a firm believer in Murphy's Law I made everything removable with just 6 pins and two plugs. Two days after installing my old cassette player and radio It just quit, I had to remove it and purchase a CD player and radio then modify the Mahogany case to fit the new system.

So far so good except the CD player skipped a little when I clean the bucket out!
