Simplicity w/FEL

I had to drop off my old weedeater for repairs and pickup some lawn tractor parts and seen a monster Simplicity lawn tractor with a FEL. I'm pretty sure it was an 18hp machine, but looked huge. It looked much bigger than the BX series in width and about the same length. It had a huge MMM, I'm guessing at least 60" underneath. It looked like an impressive machind and alternative to others machines. It had a tag under $9,000 but can't recall exactly.
This was at Gillum's on US 60 in Ashland Ky.

Sounds like the Legacy model with a Kwik-Way loader, these come in 20, 23, and 25 HP gas and 24.5 diesel configurations. It is physically the same size as the BX but not as heavy duty. I priced one out before buying my BX and it would have cost about 2K more with the rear PTO, Cat 0 3-point, and Aux hydraulics. It's a real nice tractor and nothng cuts better than a Simplicity but the BX is a much better since it has a Cat 1 3-point and just built like a utility tractor.

I have also seen these when i was shopping for a tractor. They do look nice and I have tested both a kubota bx2200 and the simplicity. They both runs good but when it comes to moveing dirt it helps a lot to have 4 wheel drive. Also on the Kubota you do not have to worrie about rear weights.

The Legacy is a very nice, well built garden tractor. There were three reasons why I did not buy one:

Only comes in 2WD
Cat 0 hitch.. implements are very expensive
PRICE.. Everything is an option PTO, 3PH etc. (like the JD X series). The price was more than the 4WD BX.
