Anyone know of any forums for simplicity garden tractors?
My 1995 16LTH is giving me fits. Worked great and started noticing oil on the floor after I mow. finally when going up a hill, it would pull okay and then slow down almost to stop, and like it was building pressure then take off again. I'd add som oil and it would be okay.
So, I finally, pulled the trans, cleaned it up and put a new clamp on the top hose as it looked like the only place it was leaking. Re-installed the trans, re added fluid, since alot leaked out on the floor during the disassembly.
Took it back out and it seemed okay, but went to climb the hill and it got so far up and stopped, then I started going down the hill backwards... (freaky since it was 9 at night).
Towed it back up to the garage added more oil and let it set all night. You could tell that it went down some so I tried again. Worked pretty good, until I get on unlevel ground then starts acting up. So I added a bit more fluid, jacked up the front end over night and it seemed like it the level went down a bit more in the container. So, I took it out, let it run on level ground at high idle while I weed wacked and got on it, and I had to push the lever all the way forward before it would move.
Are these a bear to blead, or do I have other probs going on..
I got to get some mowing done soon.. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Thanks
