Spent days pouring over stats and capacity charts, crawling over and under both the new L4330 and the L4630 with 215 hours on the clock. Drove my wife crazy! But finally signed on the L4630HST. The fellow who traded it on a larger geared tractor took his loader with him, so this one will have a brand new quick release LA853 with HD bucket and pallet forks, two hooks, and the 3-way valve. Thought about going with the 4-way for a future snow plow, but I really prefer moving snow with my heated Chevy! The tractor will have brand new loaded Ags with tubes in the front (to prevent rolloff under heavy loads), Norse ice chains in rear and valve stem protectors. One set of rear hydraulic outlets and a Woods heavy duty 84" rear blade with hydraulic angle. Foldable ROPS, and a rear utility light mounted to the fender.
The verdict is still out on the winch, but I'll probably keep the Farmi 351P to see how it handles with more PTO HP. If disappointed, I can trade up to the 501 later.
The tractor will be named Tetters, after my wonderful soul dog who passed away this past August from cancer at the age of seven. Tetters will be in the shop before coming home getting all filters and fluids replaced. Looks like I take delivery a week from today: next Friday.
Now I have to shovel out the old backhoe from under the collapsed hoop out in the field. Too much snow!
Pete
