I have a neighbor who was given a Sidewinder 72" cutter, with no manual .
The Input shaft Seal is in need of replacement ( Which shouldn't be a problem ) remove old seal gently and take to any parts store or farm supply store and they should be able to match it.
But the input shaft Bearing in the Gearbox has been beat up and is rather "Sloppy" , ( probably the main reason the seal is trashed ) .
He has called around looking for parts and been told that Sidewinder is no longer in business.
Does anyone know of a place that was a dealer of Sidewinder that would have the Parts Diagram , to know the exact bearing to replace in the Gearbox.
I do not know the model number of the unit, but will be at the property this weekend and can inspect it to see if I can get a Model# . All I know is it one heavy built RC.
Thanks
Dan
