I was just wondering what some of you Kioti owners use to clean the soot off of your loaders.
I have found this cleaner called RAM
The only thing I can say about this cleaner is WWOOWW!!
I service alot of tractors and before the service is done we like to give back a nice clean /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Kioti and It is very frustrating /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif when the hotsy won't even touch it.
I GOT IT NOW /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I haven't yet used anything. It's black as coal and doesn't bother me a bit. If I ever decide to sell it, I suppose I'll attempt to clean up the soot, and hopefully I can get that product here.

I've been using WD40. Rick, where did you get this Ram stuff?

Rick,
Is this the product of which you speak?
Boy, try Googleing "Ram Cleaner" and you get everything else but!

We use a product called "ProForce" that works very well on the black soot. We got it at Sam's Club for about $8 a gallon.

Let's see, ProForce is $8 a gallon or $2 a quart /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. RAM cleaner is $40 a quart /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.
Hmmm, think I might try the ProForce first. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Simple Green has worked for me. Used it full strength right out of the bottle. About 1/4 cup each cleaning.

If you're looking for a wax to make cleaning easier, there is one called REJEX. It's used on the cowling of planes where the exhaust and oil stain the paint pretty bad. About $20 a pint but it goes a long way. Cleanup is even easier after the wax. Normally just soap and water. Bugs don't stick either.

WD 40 was what I have used in the past and The ram will do it with no where near the effort.

Big dogs, Yes that is the stuff
I did not buy it thru the internet and I would pay that much for it seeing how it works.
As far as the price per gallon you have to mix this with water and you will get about 4 gallon out of 1 bottle
I'm telling you I was very impressed.
My wife has a brand new white Lamborgini Diablo and I use the cleaner to clean the road grim of the rocker panels.
Sorry I ment Kia not lambo

I am starting to build up the black soot on my loader arms now. I think it adds character. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
I will definitly get a cleaner in the spring when I go through it for a Spring cleaning.

Black Soot ???? I will not allow my tractor to produce any black soot ! NONE,NADA, NOTHING! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif I love her to much to ever allow her to smoke . Remember the tobacco company's get these tractors hooked on smoking at a young age when they are just in there early 15 to 20 horse power range .DON"T let this happen .
My Simba is now a 45 HP Tractor with a attitude and she is stonger than when I bought her home as a youngster . I still remember watching her fly across the fields and hills kicking up her heels (tires) pulling anything I asked of her .Yes ,she is a few years older now but she is "smoke free" still to this day . Remember "Good Parenting starts at home " !

I used the back of my sweat shirt the last time I was under there (bucket on the ground if your wondering) to grease. The wife didn't appreciate the soot in with the whites. I used a mini-grinder to modify mine a bit. It now points more towards the ground than straight ahead., it helped quite a bit but did not stop it from sooting up.

Ok fairly newbie here but will throw this out to the group..little disclaimer..have not tried it yet but my dealers service guy told me that baby oil will clean the black soot that builds up on the loader arms...I know..baby oil???? what he told me..haven't tried it but what the heck..if it works it seems like a pretty inexpensive option to clean those dirty arms...ok now someone try it and let us know....

After you get it clean then wipe some grease on the loader to help keep it from sticking again. Easier to clean off later.

Maybe not. Lamborghini makes or used to make tractors before they made cars. As I understand it, Senor Lamborghini was turned by the late, great Enzo Ferrari when he wanted to purchase a red machine. Lamborghini got mad and set out to build his own supercar, using the fortune he made in the tractor business. I'm clueless as to the state of Lamborghini in the tractor business right now -- anyone know?

Gee, I guess all of you really love your tractors and probably wash & wax your cars too (ha ha). No offense guys but (as you can see in my pix) my machine is a hard working one. I keep it happy with regular filter changing, oil & grease. But dings, scratches, color fade, etc is a way of life for a working machine. Surface dirt doesn't hurt. Keep away from plastic surgeons when you all get wrinkles (LOL). Happy Holidays!!

Are you going to start to cary the line of Lamborghini tractors now? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
That black is just to hard to get off my Kioti loader.
Thanks,
Gary
