Show your colors with a DIY license plate!

I have been looking for a Kubota license plate, couldn't find one, decided to make my own. I measured a couple of the decals on my tractor, and they are just the right size to fit on a standard 6x12 plate. If anyone is interested, the part numbers are as follows: "Kubota" K1162-65250 (dimensions approx. 10x2") $1.10 each, "BX22" 7J611-58470 (dimensions approx. 7.75 x 2) $2.15 each. (of course, you could just use the "kubota" if your model decal didn't fit, or do your own "color" for you non-kubota owner/lovers.)
I found blank license plates online, less than $10 for two (including shipping). used the Kubota orange paint i already had. Total cost for 2: about $17.

I've got an extra white plastic plate w/ KUBOTA on it in aqua/orange that I'll be happy to send to the first one to PM me with their name/address as the plate is just collecting dust right now.

OK THIS IS A LITTLE OFF TOPIC BUT . . . I used to get rear ended in traffic about once a year.

I put a LIFE MEMBER: NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION license plate frame over my license plate and have not been hit since!

Last year I was driving my Avanti convertible, it had an Avanti license plate frame on it, guess what, I got rear ended! Coincidence? I think not.
