2012 John Deere 3520 Deluxe Cab
I have a john deere compact tractor with cab on order and i have plans to tint all windows with 20 percent film to keep the sun out and keep the interior from fading. I would like to see how nice your tractors look with the windows tinted if anyone has this done. I will do this myself as i have done all my machines i have operated for work. My cat d6g dozer i ran at work i did with 5 percent limo only becuase i ran it during the day of course and could see good enough out the windows. It kept the cab cold as heck! and kept it cozy and clean! Problem with limo tint is it is **** to see out of at night time in a snow storm

They qouted me 600 to come out on tint my windows(on kubota 7040),havent done it yet.I remember the do it yourself on my back window on first truck:laughing:I did let a guy at work tint my windows on the big JD tractor I pulled scraper pans with but just done down so far so that could see the ground better(i think it was down to dash tinted).

I've done various cars and trucks over the years. But had my last car done by the pros. Pretty neat the way their cutter does it all by PC.

I actually tint glass for a living. I have been at it since 1985. Tractors can be a challenge with all the grommets and other things bolted through the glass. If heat and fade reduction are the major things you are looking to reduce, there are lighter films out there that keep huge amounts of heat from passing through the glass

I'll shoot one of mine in the morning, it is a Mahindra 4510 and I had all the cab windows, except the front done. For me tint is the only way to go, it helps with the A/C in summer and cuts glare year round, especially with the curved corner glass that tends to make backing in bright sun dangerous when the angle of the sun is just right.
