Hello!
I got the Model 2816 Gear on September 4, 2010. I generally do like the machine which is a step up from my previous tractor a Mitsubishi MT180HD.
Can anyone tell me if they know for sure if the loader control, a Cross brand Joystick, is supposed to have a noticable "Regen" position? I can see and feel the effect of the "Float" but can see or feel nothing in the "Dump" position that indicates anything other than just dumping. I've gotten different stories from different official and semi official sources who have an interest in telling me that the regen is there I just can't tell it is there. Anybody got the facts?
Also: The owner's manual suggests that I should be able to shift the synchro-mesh transmission "on the fly" i.e. from gear to gear, without stopping. As from 1st to 2nd gear, etc. This does not work on my tractor even with double clutching. Should it?
Thank you all very much for this great forum,
