Would this tractor be worth the trouble of restoring to a point that it looks as new as possible, it only has a little over 800 hours on it. It has never spent a single night in a barn, shed or carport since it was purchased. It runs great, looks like heck though; I'll be able to give it a rest as soon as I get my lawn tractor out of the shop, I hope anyway, this thing as bad as it looks, has already run circles around the Troy Built.

I think you should try to remove some of the rust, try rust blocking primer and a few cans of spray paint. I use rust treament from Napa Autoparts. It comes in a spray can. Keep the tractor in good shape and it will last for many years. Other than a little rust the tractor looks good.
