BX 2350 FEL 60mmm TG1670
I can get my hands on a 2008 BX2350 with 19 hrs. It comes with a loader and a land pride scraper. The guy wants $9500. I think it's a pretty good deal what do you think? There is'nt a scratch on it. I have a TG1860G now with a snowblower that really works well, but I like the idea of 4x4.

The 50 series had some issues. Research the forum for them and then decide.
You may want to contact Barlows and see what a new one costs to see if your getting a good deal for a used tractor that is usually reduced even more being the 50 series.
The hours are very, very low but once any tractor is sold it drops because of being used and mainly because it doesn't qualify for the 0% 60 month financing.

Beef about the lack of a MMM or blower (depending on what you need), kick the ground and hold out 75 c-notes. If the tractor has not starred in a MythBusters episode, it's a good deal. The tractor sounds new, but half the fun of "new" is warranty, and that is *over*...

If it has plastic fenders and deck, research here carefully. Kubota seriously screwed those up.

Also be aware the seller may read this board too.

Why not ask some of us who have recently sold or traded a BX1860?
I agree. That tractor simply shouldn't bring $9500. I know that sounds kinda cold, but it isn't. An BX1860 with FEL struggles to fetch that and is a much improved version in every way.

CHDinCT recently traded his unit in and I seriously doubt he got that kind of money. I know when I talked to Barlows, they offered me far less than that for my BX1860 with FEL and only 55 hours at the time and a year of remaining warranty. So, in comparison, you'd have paid me $10500 for mine? I'd have kissed you! :D:D

Bottom line? No. $7500 to $8000 at the absolute tops.

bp fick did you read my thread correctly. You keep mentioning a bx 1860. The tractor I'm buying is a BX2350 for $9500. Just wondering

I think BP is just trying to give you a referance price. I had a BX2350 for a few months. I've also bought a few Kubotas. If I saw a BX2350 sitting on a lot beside a BX1860 with similiar hours and equipment, I'd give a bit more for the BX1860 but not a lot more. The 60 series is newer than the 50 series and the 60 series has metal parts vs plastic on the 50 series. Mainly the 50 series has an abrupt stop in reverse which all BX's before and after the 50 series do not. These issues with the 50 series causes them to be less money on resale to a buyer that knows about the issues. Guess some sellers will ask more hunting for the buyer that doesn't know or is not going to be backing up much.
Just my opinion as to why BP refers to his BX1860 and your talking about a BX2350 as well as he just spent time researching sales prices of slightly used BX's
Try the BX2350 and see if the issues bother you but I do think it's priced to high.

BPFick's numbers are more in line with what it would bring in my area, I personally wouldn't buy one.
