Shipping Costs_Fastenal is amazing

Hi All

I just bought a snow thrower attachment for a Toro Groundsmaster. This is a good sized unit at about 50" x 30" x 40" and weighs roughly 350. The best pricing I got through UShip was around $400. I was advised by the seller that I should contact Fastenal. They have a service where, if you can get your item to a local outlet, they will ship it using excess capacity of their intra-store delivery infrastructure. Total cost for the thrower was $170. An amazing savings. Give it a try next time you have to ship something.

Great intel jpetro I had no idea that was an option...I have used UShip for autos and boats but smaller stuff starts to get pricey. Although one time I used it for a dog that was 500 miles away and I put in the ad I would meet at the nearest interstate gas station and got a $50 bid. Who doesn't want to travel with a puppy and get a extra $50 along the way...
