After weeks of searching I finally found a replacement gear shift boot from a local Massey Ferguson dealer for the Ford 1600 Compact Tractor (1978). AGCO Part # 1678565M3 BOOT B3-10; $13.57 each. I bought 3. The dimensions are the same, but the boot is a bit shorter than the original boot, but it does the job nicely. Chester Implement Co.; Henderson, TN 731-989-5715.
