I have a compact New Holland Workmaster 33 with a 1.5L 3-cyl. The spec sheet for this model shows it is putting out 32.2 HP, 26 (gear) at the PTO.
The spec sheet for the Workmaster 37 shows this model uses the exact same engine but it is rated at 36.2 HP, 29.6 (gear) at the PTO. In fact, this is the only difference I can see between the two "different" models between the spec sheets. Size, weight, tires, everything else appears exactly the same.
My question is simply this: how are they getting 4/5 more HP out of the same motor and can I achieve the same HP in my model through some modification/adjustments? It might not seem like a lot but a few extra horses would help run a five foot bush hog...
